Prerequisite: Admission to the School Psychology program. This course covers selected psychotherapeutic and counseling theories for the treatment of children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral disorders/disruptions that interfere with learning. Topics include: behavioral approaches, cognitive-behavioral, choice theory, play-based and other related group and individual theoretically based therapies.
