Catalog description

Prerequisite: EDP 5503 or consent of the instructor. The purpose of this course is to develop competencies in the application of principles of behavior and multiple areas of investigation and practice. An advanced graduate course on the analysis of the verbal behavior of the proficient speaker and listener, and the biological, environmental, and motivational factors affecting it. Structural and developmental issues, as well as implications for language training and remediation are integrated throughout. (Formerly SPE 5643. Credit cannot be earned for both SPE 5643 and EDP 5643 .) Course Fees: GH01 $90; LRH1 $20.54; STSH $30.81.
