Catalog description

This course examines the role and sociocultural context of America’s public education system. Students are challenged to critically deconstruct the primary goals of schooling through scholarly inquiry, debate, and discussion. The course is available to students from diverse disciplines including education, psychology, sociology, leadership, and policy. Throughout the course, students are encouraged to develop critical thinking and writing skills that can be applied within their chosen area of study. Course Fees: GH01 $90; LRH1 $20.54; STSH $30.81.
