Prerequisite: MAT 1133 , ECO 3013 , and ECO 3053 , or their equivalents, with a grade of "C-" or better. This course provides a rigorous treatment of advanced economic theory, emphasizing formal modeling in microeconomics and macroeconomics. Topics include consumer and firm behavior, market structures, institutional design, and economic growth. Students will develop and analyze models using mathematical and computational tools.
