Prerequisite: Restricted to students majoring in Computer Science. Approval from the instructor, the Department Chair, and the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies in the College for which this course is offered. This course should involve a laboratory and experimental and/or a theoretical problem. May be repeated for credit, but no more than 6 semester credit hours of Independent Study ( CS 4911 , CS 4912 , CS 4913 ), Undergraduate Research ( CS 4923 ), Senior Design ( CS 4613 , CS 4623 ), and Senior Thesis ( CS 4883 , CS 4893 ), regardless of discipline, will apply to a bachelor’s degree. Generally offered: Fall, Spring. This course has Differential Tuition. Course Fees: IUCA $45.
