Catalog description

Prerequisite: CS 3873 . Introduction to the principles and techniques associated with the cybersecurity practice known as penetration testing or ethical hacking. The course covers planning, reconnaissance, scanning, exploitation, post-exploitation, and result reporting. Students learn how to use penetration testing tools, discover system vulnerabilities, and avoid the exploitation of vulnerabilities. Generally offered: Spring. This course has Differential Tuition. Course Fees: IUCA $45; DL01 $75.
