Prerequisite: CS 3753 or CS 3763 or CS 4223 . Study of statistical techniques in modeling and analyzing large-scale biological data with emphasis on integrating information and tools from publicly available biological databases to address complex problems. Topics include, but are not limited to, statistical significance testing, clustering, classification, and dimension reduction. Basic biological concepts related to the applications will also be covered. Generally offered: Spring. This course has Differential Tuition. Course Fee: IUCA $45; DL01 $75.
