Prerequisite: CS 2113 . Abstract data structures (stacks, queues, lists, trees), recursion, sorting, and searching. Implementation of data structures using explicit memory management and introduction to abstract data type design and encapsulation. The course includes 3 hours of lecture per week. (Formerly CS 1723 and CS 2124. Credit can only be earned for one of the following courses: CS 2124, CS 1723, or CS 2123 .) Generally offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
