Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in COM 3023 ; this course is required of and restricted to students majoring in Communication. Introduction to basic research methods as they apply to communication inquiry. Issues include applications of quantitative and qualitative research designs, descriptive and inferential statistics, and interpretation and critical evaluation of findings.
