Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Certification Program. This course includes a Field Experience in a local public school. Study of curricular, instructional, and management approaches to science in secondary schools. Emphasis on developing instructional and curricular strategies that are effective in diverse teaching contexts. The course will address teaching special populations of students, the application of instructional technology and multimedia, and developing classroom culture and ecology. Restricted course, advisor code required for registration. This course is limited to students enrolled in the MACI+T program. Course Fee: GH01 $90; LRH1 $20.54; STSH $30.81.
