Prerequisite: Must be admitted to the Teacher Certification Program. This course includes a field experience in a local public school, a study of curricula, instructional, and management approaches to teaching mathematics grades 4–8, and an emphasis on a constructivist approach to teaching mathematics, including the use of technology in diverse learning environments.
