Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Certification Program. Examination of current trends, issues, and pedagogical approaches to teaching and facilitating learning of physical education in the secondary school curriculum. Contemporary programming, problem-solving, and community outreach activities will be emphasized. Weekly fieldwork in the public schools at the elementary school level is required.
