Catalog description

Prerequisite: A grade of "C-" or better in EGR 3423 (or equivalent). This course will cover various technologies used in medical imaging modalities, including X-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and photoacoustic imaging. The fundamental principles and engineering underlying each imaging modality will be discussed, and the performance analysis of each system will be examined. This course has Differential Tuition.
