This course prepares students to teach science courses using the Scientific Teaching framework. The main idea of this framework is that teaching and learning are approached with the same rigor as science itself. The Scientific Teaching framework has three main components, Active Learning, Assessment, and Equity and Diversity. (Same as NDRB 7113 . Credit cannot be earned for both BIO 6103 and NDRB 7113 .)
