Prerequisite: BIO 1203 , BIO 1223 , BIO 1173 or CS 1173 , and STA 1403 . Survey of the ecological and evolutionary processes that drive disease emergence, the transmission of pathogens between hosts, and the impact of diseases on host populations. Integrates studies of infectious diseases from different perspectives, including human epidemiology, veterinary medicine, wildlife epidemiology, plant pathology, parasitology, and ecology.
