Prerequisite: BIO 1203 and BIO 1223 . This course will explore the concept of One Health, which states that human, animal, and environmental/ecosystem health are linked. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the framework for examining complex health issues such as food safety and security, emerging and vector-borne diseases, and antimicrobial resistance.
