An organized course offering the opportunity for specialized study not normally or not often available as part of the regular course offerings. Special Topics may be repeated for credit when the topics vary, but not more than 6 semester credit hours will apply to a bachelor's degree, regardless of discipline. No more than 6 semester credit hours of BIO 2953 , BIO 4951 , or BIO 4953 can be applied to a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or Microbiology and Immunology.
