Catalog description

This foundational course aims to equip learners with essential statistical tools and methodologies for making informed, data-driven decisions in the business world. Students will explore core statistical concepts throughout this course, including probability theory, descriptive statistics, sampling design, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis. Emphasis will be placed on practical applications and the use of statistical software to analyze real-world business data. Students will learn to interpret statistical outputs, understand variability, and make predictions based on empirical evidence. By the end of this course, students will be adept at leveraging statistical techniques to solve business problems, enhance strategic decision-making, and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
