Catalog description

Prerequisites: Consent of instructor and approval from the School Director prior to the beginning of the internship. A learning laboratory in which art methods and principles are applied in a practical manner outside the classroom in areas such as museum and gallery activities, historical preservation, providing technical studio assistance for artists, and community-oriented educational or informational functions and publications. Projects are initiated by students, with close supervision and evaluation by the instructor. May be repeated once for credit, but not more than 6 hours total of ART 6033 and ART 6043 will apply to the Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art.
