Clinical Education I

Catalog description

This course provides supervised clinical education in which students are assigned to a specific patient. The student will observe the patient from consultation through treatment. Students are required to present in a formal setting the educational findings related to their patient’s treatment regimen. Students must demonstrate competency in block fabrication, patient immobilization, patient transfer techniques, bolus, vital signs and basic patient care. Students are assigned a mentor for the development of a master-apprentice relationship. Course Fee: $38.00
