Catalog description

This clinical laboratory rotation is a continuation of MG 4560. This clinical laboratory rotation may include the study of molecular diagnostic procedures utilizing recombinant DNA technology and its application to the many aspects of the clinical laboratory. Laboratory experiences may include DNA specimen handling and processing, DNA extractions, DNA purification, Southern blot analysis, probe preparation and utilization, PCR, primer design and Real-Time PCR. Course Fee: $35.00
