Catalog description

This lecture and laboratory course strengthens the understanding and application of the diagnostic implications of clinical microbiology. Emphasis on the clinical correlation of medically important microorganisms, isolation, identification and antibiotic sensitivity testing, where appropriate, pathogenesis and pathophysiology of infectious disease, and epidemiology and quality assurance. Must be taken concurrently with MLSC 4061.
