Catalog description

This course provides a clinical experience for DS2 students. Students will revisit foundational knowledge in diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment rendering. Patients will be assigned for initial screening and the initiation of the treatment planning process. For patients approved as pre doctoral cases, students will complete a comprehensive examination and formulate an appropriate treatment plan. Documentation and imaging will be completed using the electronic patient record and imaging systems (EPIC and MiPACS) in accordance with School Standards of Care and established protocols.
