This course in neuroscience provides further foundation to understand the structures and functions of the developing, mature, and aging nervous system. It covers basic neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuropharmacology. It also applies neuroscience to clinical applications regarding pathology and patient care. Since structural organization is central to most functional concepts, neuroanatomy is emphasized to facilitate an overall understanding of the nervous system.
