Documentation for Occupational Therapy Practice. 1 Credit Hour

Catalog description

This course provides occupational therapy students with essential knowledge and skills for effective documentation across a range practice settings and service delivery models for different populations, documentation formats, and electronic documentation systems. Students will examine the purposes, principles, and legal/ethical requirements of occupational therapy documentation while developing competency in writing clear, concise, and compliant documentation. Completion of OTD program of study for Summer 1, Fall 1, and Spring 1 is required. Students must be enrolled as a second year student in the OTD curriculum.
