Catalog description

This interprofessional course provides an exploration of issues facing health professionals. Students work collaboratively in interprofessional teams reflecting on and deconstructing these issues. This allows students to integrate their knowledge and understanding and communicate how these serve as a guide for ethical decision making in professional interactions. Students will apply the knowledge content and the interprofessional exchange of ideas to identify strategies for analyzing issues and making decisions to resolve ethical conflicts. Students must be enrolled in the OTD curriculum in the second year.
