This course provides the foundation to understand the structures and functions of the developing, mature, and aging nervous system. It covers basic neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and neuropharmacology. It also applies neuroscience to clinical applications regarding pathology and patient care and thus prepares the student in those aspects of neuroscience commonly encountered in clinical practice across the lifespan.
