Catalog description

This graduate-level clinical course provides students with supervised opportunities to demonstrate advanced health assessment techniques in real or simulated practice settings. Students will perform comprehensive and focused physical examinations across the lifespan, applying psychomotor skills and clinical reasoning to interpret findings and construct prioritized problem lists and differential diagnoses. Emphasis is placed on the practical integration of assessment data and the development of professional oral and written communication skills to support person-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Prerequisites: NURS 5338 and NURS 5354 Corequisites: NURS 5208 .
