This course provides students clinical experience to deliver holistic care of children and their families from birth through young adulthood, emphasizing health promotion, disease management, and injury prevention in a clinical setting. Learners will apply learned theory and clinical judgment to interpret assessment data, identify risk factors, analyze trends, and provide care using best practices and appropriate nursing care to the pediatric population across environments.
