Catalog description

This sub-internship is designed to prepare students for the intense and responsible role of the intern. The sub-intern is an integral member of the team and will participate in all team activities and medical care for his/her patients, under the supervision of the Emergency Medicine attending. In additional to working clinical shifts, students are expected to participate in didactic sessions and perform ambulane ride-alongs to successfully complete the course. This course is an outpatient selective. Prerequisite: EMED 3005 .
