Musical Theatre Studio

Catalog description

In this course, students will explore and apply basic acting techniques as they translate to musical theatre performance. Students will build a cumulative repertoire book consisting of vocal selections worked in each of the four semesters they participate. Additionally, students will be introduced to audition and rehearsal skills such as choreography acquisition, cold reading, and etiquette.
