Ed Myths & Pedagog Practices

Catalog description

This course investigates pedagogical practices in light of the latest knowledge in educational research, psychology and neuroscience. It covers the origin of common education-/neuro- myths as the justification of wide-spread teaching practices, as well as offers the most current understandings of such knowledge and how these may be applied. Through this exploration, students will gain the tools needed to critically evaluate past and current research to make informed pedagogical decisions.
