Scholarly Writing for Education (3-0) This course supports student's scholarly writing and their ethical use of digital databases and generative AI. Students analyze published literature reviews for the features of academic writing and engage in writing exercises that help them produce these features in their own writing. The instructional focus within this practice includes: conceptualization, argumentation, research evidence, writing style, mechanics, and citation. Peer and faculty feedback support student's writing and their formulation of a topic for scholarly inquiry.
