Field-Based Experience & Prac

Catalog description

This course provides pre-service teacher candidates with a structured field-based experience prior to student teaching. Through reflective engagement and observations of public school students and certified teacher, pre-student candidates will intentionally and meaningfully apply educational theory in real classroom practice. This course additionally provides guided preparation for the TExES content exam using approved study resources. Successful completion of this course includes a minimum of 50-clock hours of fieldwork and demonstrated readiness for the TExES content exam.
