Assessment and Research in Rehabilitation Counseling: This course is designed to help students become more familiar with the basic principles related to the assessment process in rehabilitation counseling and how various major disabilities and chronic health conditions impact the assessment process. Basic assessment terminology, concepts, procedures, and assessment types will be discussed in the rehabilitation counseling context. Overall, this course is an overview of the selection, administration, accommodations/bias, limitations, and interpretation of major assessment tools.
