Psychiatric Rehabilitation: This course reviews psychiatric rehabilitation concepts and principles, techniques, history, treatment settings and modalities. The course introduces students to issues related to community participation, acceptance, and inclusion of persons with psychiatric disabilities in society. Emphasis is placed on counseling and treatment planning in reaching vocational goals with those who have psychiatric and developmental disorders.
