An evaluation of the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary conditions encountered by physical therapists, with emphasis on physical therapist diagnosis are presented. Recognition of signs and symptons associated with various conditions beyond the scope of physical therapist intervention is developed, enabling the practitioner to make appropriate referrals.
