Catalog description

Behav/Mental Hlth Intervention This course teaches students to apply evidence-based practices in mental health care, criminal justice, academic and public health settings. Students at the Master's and PhD level will lern to integrate evidence-based interventions into practice and research, and to adapt these interventions to the setting and target populations with which they work. Readings regarding evidence-based practice will be discussed in class, and concepts will be applied to behavioral health and mental problems in the community based on the student's interests and professional goals.
