Catalog description

This course will teach students the fundamentals of psychological development during adolescence, particularly in areas of biological, cognitive, and social development. Throughout the course, students will think critically about whether current policies and practices treat adolescents in ways that are developmentally appropriate. Students will gain experience reading, interpreting, and applying developmental research and will learn how to communicate research findings to others effectively.
