Catalog description

Statistical Methods: [TCCN PSYC 2317] Introduction to basic descriptive and inferential statistics used in behavioral sciences. Topics will include: histograms and distributions; z-scores;central tendency; variability; correlation & simple regression; sampling distributions and sampling error; confidence intervals; null hypothesis test; and independent & dependent sample t-tests. Topics may include: Chi square, Bayes Theorem, ANOVA, and post-hoc tests. Required of all psychology majors and minors Restricted to majors: NURS-GENERIC, NURSING-RN, ALLIED-HLTH, PSYC. Restricted to minors: PSYC.
