Nineteenth Century Philosophy (3-0) Examines topics such as the reaction to Kant's critiques by Positivism (Comte and followers) on the one hand,and Idealism (Fichte, Schelling, Hegel) on the other. The course also examines the philosophical impact of Darwin, Marx, Kierkegaard, and Nietzsche. Prerequisite: Junior standing. .
