Catalog description

This course is designed to assist OTD students to translate their clinical doctoral thesis into a manuscript that can be submitted for publication to a refereed journal. Students will learn to use current health care reporting standards (e.g., CONSORT statement, COSMIN, CARE statement) as a basis from which to write a journal manuscript addressing clinical topics such as intervention effectiveness, instrument development, case reports, and professional discussion papers. Manuscript submission, revision, publication etiquette, and ethical conduct are also reviewed.
