Acute Pediatric Practicum

Catalog description

This graduate level nursing course is the clinical component of Nursing 5657. Students focus on the assessment and management of acute, critical, and/or chronic health conditions or problems of children and adolescents within the context of various intensive care settings with an emphasis on stabilization, minimization of physical and psychological complications and maximization of the patient's health potential. Prerequisite: Department approval required. Corequisite: NURS 5657 .
