Nursing Care of Aging Client

Catalog description

This course explores current issues and concepts related to aging from the perspective of health care providers. Theories of aging and concepts such as health, culture, safety, economics, and the environment are addressed. The overall goal is to facilitate understanding of older persons and their unique needs in order to provide holistic care and create a better quality of life for the aging client through collaborative practice. Prerequisite: Departmental approval. Restricted to Major of Nursing; Restricted to class of JR.
