Pharmacology for Nursing This course provides an introduction to the principles of pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacotherapeutics, potential adverse medication reactions and interactions. Emphasis is placed on drug classifications and nursing implications related to the safe administration of medication to patients across the lifespan. Performing dosage calculations using various methods are introduced.
