Intro to Nursing Practice

Catalog description

This course focuses on an introduction to professional nursing. Emphasis is placed on the challenging role of the nurse in contemporary society and the differentiated knowledge and practice expectations of the baccalaureate degree in nursing. In addition, there will be scholarly dialogue about the knowledge and skills needed to support patients in health promotion and disease preventions as they strive to reach their optimal level of wellness.
