Middle Grades Student Teaching Residency I: Students complete their first semester of student teaching in an assigned classroom in a middle school. Fieldwork consists of assisting in student-centered classroom instruction and seminars designed to relate the classroom instructional situation to corresponding instructional theory. Students are in their assigned classroom two days a week for a semester.
