This course will emphasize data science and fundamentals of the Python programming language used in the analysis of experimental data. The course is designed for students who want to learn and apply numerical methods in order to solve solve problems in engineering and science; the methods are motivated by research problems rather than by mathematics. Sufficient materials, mathematical and computation theory will provide insight into computational and data science techniques and their shortcomings.
