Clinical Exercise Physiology

Catalog description

The course provides students with recent advances in exercise physiology for clinical populations. Particular emphasis is placed on the acute and chronic responses to exercise in patients at risk for or having cardiac, pulmonary, and metabolic disease. Exercise assessment/ prescription and program management in rehabilitation for these populations is addressed.
