Women and Film (3-0) The significant participation of women in front of & behind the camera will be studied in this course. Emphasis will be placed on the historical contributions of women writers, producers, and directors and the recent increase in the number of women actively involved in the production of feature films. Attention will also be given to screen images of women and how they reflect the American culture. Prerequisite: FILM 1390 or instructor approval.
